On October 12 and 13, the AI without Upper Limit Congress was held in Monterrey, Nuevo León, where the director of the Center for Digital Evolution, Alexandra Solano, served as moderator of the panel “Business Technological Ecosystem.” Participating in the forum were Betsabé Rocha, Secretary of Economic Development of the Government of Monterrey; Haidé Sánchez, businesswoman member of the CAINTRA women's commission; and Ángeles Vela, belonging to the Nuevo León Software Council, ICT Cluster.
Among the topics addressed by the panel were the different dimensions that a digital transformation addresses, such as digital strategy and culture, as well as the opportunities and challenges that artificial intelligence offers in business. A perspective on the leadership skills that women should possess in a technological environment was also discussed, where Haidé Sánchez stressed the importance of having confidence and not being victims of imposter syndrome, a phenomenon that usually keeps women from occupying more challenging positions.
Ángeles Vela spoke about the agility that organizations must have to implement new technologies and the significance of training talent in the new roles and key competencies demanded by the new technological context. Betsabé Rocha highlighted the importance of authorities developing policies that use technology as a factor for economic growth, such as the "Woman develops Software" programs and the digitalization of SMEs of the Government of Monterrey.
Alexandra Solano highlighted the fruit of generating alliances such as the one made by the 10,000 Women for Mexico Association and the Digital Evolution Center of the Tecnológico de Monterrey Business School to hold the IA Sin Límite Superior Congress, a forum that served almost 300 businesswomen and entrepreneurs to approach the large number of options that can boost their businesses with the help of new technologies, such as artificial intelligence.
